Frequently Asked Questions

How long will a pair last?

With daily pushing, expect months rather than years. It varies a lot with your surfaces, your weight distribution, and whether you push in the wet. Some people get far longer out of a pair. We'd rather tell you that than quote a number we can't stand behind.

Why not just use cycling gloves?

Plenty of people do, and that's the problem. A cycling glove is padded for a static bar under the centre of the palm. Pushing a rim loads the thumb web and the heel of the hand instead, so the padding sits where you don't need it and the wear happens where there's nothing.

What size am I?

Measure across your palm at the knuckles, excluding the thumb, and match it to the size chart on each product page. If you're between sizes, take the smaller one — leather gives as it breaks in.

Will they work in the rain?

Leather grips a wet rim better than mesh, but no glove is waterproof and wet leather takes time to dry. If you push in the rain regularly, rotate two pairs so one is always dry.

How do I care for them?

Air-dry after wet pushing — away from direct heat, which stiffens leather. Don't machine wash.

Can I return them if they don't fit?

Yes. See our returns policy for the current window and process.
